Today is DAY FOR LIFE  This year the focus is on all those who are suffering or have survived domestic abuse. Within the Bishops’ Conference, the Domestic Abuse Working Group aims to develop networks and work with others to support projects against domestic violence.  Jesus said “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”  There is a retiring collection today to support this important work.

SEEDS OF FAITH WEDNESDAY 19 JUNE AT 7.00PM  All are welcome to come and take part in our monthly forum where we reflect on how we sow and nurture seeds of faith in the wider community!

CAFOD CANDLELIGHT FUND   A Candlelight Fund is a special fund in memory   of a loved one who has died.  Donating to a charity in memory of someone special is a beautiful way to celebrate their life.  It will celebrate their life and touch the lives of thousands more.  If you would like more information on how to set up a Candlelight Fund there is a CAFOD brochure at the back of church.

TOWARDS A CULTURE OF SAFEGUARDING We all have a role to play in safeguarding the young or adults who may be at risk.  The Catholic community in England and Wales has worked with EduCare to bring you an e-learning package that will raise awareness. The following programmes are available:   Child Protection, Child Protection in Education, Child Exploitation & Online Safety, Child Protection Refresher, Safeguarding Adults, Safeguarding Adults Refresher, Mental Capacity.  These programmes are available to all members of the Catholic community free of charge.  To access this training resource email safeguarding@prcdtr.org.uk  to register your interest.
