LITURGY GROUP: The Parish Liturgy Group will meet this Wednesday 8th February at 7pm in the Presbytery.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: A group of our children will be making their First Holy Communion during the Mass next Sunday 12th February. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.
SUNDAY MISSALS: The new CTS Missals with the revised English texts have now arrived. Those who have ordered one can pick up a copy from the sacristy, priced £19.99.
MINISTRY OF HOSPITALITY: The annual blessing and re-
PALM CROSSES: Ash Wednesday falls on 22nd February. Parishioners are asked to bring last year’s palm crosses to church over the next two weekends so that they can be burned to provide ashes for the solemn imposition of ashes on that day. Please leave them in the sacristy.
HOLIDAY ON ICE/MOZART MASS: If you have not already done so, those who have put their names down to take part in the parish outings to the Holiday on Ice Show on Thursday 16th February at 7pm and/or to the Mozart Mass on Saturday 25th February at 7.30pm are asked to give their money to Gary Dowland or Jeannette Blanchard as soon as possible. The Holiday on Ice Show costs £26 and the performance of the Mozart Mass £19.
BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS: A Conference Workshop will be held in the Parish Hall next Saturday 11th February, starting at 10am, looking at how we build and develop our relationships, led by local volunteers. Further details of the day are on the noticeboard or speak to Margaret Cushen or Liz Allott for more information.
TUESDAY CHOICE: “Tuesday Choice” is a regular weekly club that meets in the Methodist Church Hall in Totnes and offers social opportunities and activities to adults over 18yrs with learning disabilities. After a successful first year, the club is looking for two new committee members and to add to the team of volunteers who help in the running of the club. If you would be interested in helping, a sheet with more information is available at the back of church.
SEVEN LAST WORDS: The students of Notre Dame School in Plymouth and of three other schools are presenting a Christian musical drama based upon Fr Timothy Radcliffe’s reflections on Christ’s final words. Performances will be given in Exeter Cathedral on Friday 23rd March and at Buckfast Abbey on Sunday 25th March. See noticeboard for more details or go to www.ndonline.org.
